Call us and our professional locksmiths will come to you

In the middle of a high-stress lock and key emergency, the last thing you want to do is leave your property.

After you contact our 24/7 emergency locksmith service, stay put. We’ll come to you and help with:

  • Getting you into your home or office if you’re locked out
  • Removing a jammed or broken key from a lock
  • Accessing your safe if you’ve forgotten the code
  • Changing locks quickly to lock out unwanted tenants
  • Repairing broken door hardware (panic bars, handicap operators, access control units, door closers)
  • Adjusting doors and frames that are jammed or sticking and are hard or impossible to open

Tips to stay calm and safe in an emergency lock or key situation

Locked your keys in the car

  • If not in a safe location (such as in a dark parking lot or in the middle of the road), go to a safe place (like a convenience store or restaurant) and contact emergency locksmith service.
  • Do not attempt to break the window, as it could potentially cause extra damage (and cost) to your car while potentially injuring you as well.
  • If you’ve accidentally locked a child in the car, contact 911 immediately.
  • Do not accept any rides or assistance from strangers or individuals you are not comfortable with.

Lost your safe combination

  • Don’t panic. Your valuables are still safely locked inside your safe until an emergency locksmith can access them for you. They’re not going anywhere.
  • Don’t try to open the safe with a torch or drill. Chances are you’ll wreck your tools while the safe won’t be impacted.
  • Leave your safe right where it is. Moving it won’t make it easier to open and your locksmith can open it in its current location.
  • If possible, contact someone who also has the safe combination.

Locked out of the home or office

  • Ask if roommates, housemates, landlords/property owners or co-workers can come to your location and let you in.
  • If it’s late at night, ask to stay at a neighbour’s or friend’s house while the emergency 24/7 locksmith service makes its way to you.
  • Do not attempt to climb through any open windows, as you may injure yourself or cause damage to items (such as tables or chairs) located underneath the open window.
  • Don’t try to “jimmy” the lock with a credit card or coat hanger as this can potentially damage the lock and result in having to pay extra to repair or replace it.

Victim of a break-in

  • If you’re at home, be quiet, don’t attract attention and call 911 if possible.
  • If you come home to find a break-in, make certain the home is secure and then call the police, your insurance company and an emergency 24/7 locksmith service.
  • Make certain all family members are accounted for before assessing damage and theft.
  • Investigate ways to make your house more secure, such as purchasing a home safe or improving your lock accessories.
